Q: What do I do if someone harasses me anywhere (by Email, in the Chatroom or IM) in the site?
A: You can place any member who harasses you on your Ignore list, so they are blocked and prevented from any further harassment.
Q: What do I do if someone is stalking me within the site?
A: This is a big community with many features. Just because someone happens to be where you are within the community, it does not necessarily mean that they are stalking you. However if they follow you around and continue to make contact with you, you can place that member on your ignore list to prevent any further stalking/harassment.
Q: What if someone is threatening to do physical harm to me?
A: We take physical, verbal, written or other threats against our members very seriously. We recommend for you to First place the member on your ignore list to stop any further escalation of the conflict. You can then report the member to us by contacting our Support Team so that we can investigate the offender’s behavior and take further actions, including but not limited to the termination of the offender’s profile from the community, if warranted.
Furthermore, if these threats are deemed to put you in danger an imminent d/or harm, we highly recommend you immediately notify your local authorities for further action. Please understand that our ability to protect our members are limited to warning the offenders and at best, if deemed necessary, terminate their membership in the community, but we can not protect you beyond that. This is an issue that only you and your local authorities can prevent from any further escalation by taking proactive measures.
Q: What if someone is tolling the chatrooms within the community?
A: “Trolling” is not against the law, nor is it against the community rules and regulations. If you are annoyed by someone, simply click the “Ignore”.
Q: What if a member keeps sending me sexually graphic pictures against my repeated warning not to?
A: Please first warn the person about this annoying action. If the member continues to send you sexually graphic pictures, simply place them on your Ignore List. Follow this by sending a short complaint note to our Support Staff. If we find this to be a pattern in the offender’s behavior by receiving similar mails from other members about him/her, we will terminate the offender from the community.
